I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Avon Lake, OH, I earned my Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University before moving to Jackson, Wyoming in 1998. I worked in the non-profit world before pursuing my Master of Social Work degree from Colorado State University in 2008. My clinical approach draws from my diverse experience in various settings, with a focus on helping children, families, and individuals heal and thrive in all areas of their lives.
I support clients across the lifespan experiencing a wide spectrum of needs. I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based approach in my work. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Synergetic Play Therapy (SPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), PROSPER Suicide Prevention, perinatal mood disorders, gender diversity, grief and loss support, and positive behavior support at home and in the classroom. I'm also a TIPS (Teton Interagency Peer Support) Clinician, supporting first responders mental, emotional and psychological well-being.
Outside of my clinical work, I find peace in nature and enjoy spending time in the mountains with my children, family, friends, and dogs. I deeply value the opportunity to walk alongside my clients —offering connection, healing, and growth at every stage of life. Thank you for visiting!
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps the brain process and heal from distressing experiences, trauma, anxiety, negative beliefs, and emotional overwhelm.
While EMDR Therapy can be done in weekly 50-55 minute sessions, healing from trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming life experiences doesn’t always happen in a traditional weekly therapy format.
I’m excited to begin offering EMDR Intensives in June, 2026. EMDR Intensives provide extended, focused sessions designed to support deeper healing in a shorter period of time.
EMDR Intensives may be helpful for:
• Trauma and PTSD
• Anxiety and panic
• Stress and burnout
• Negative self-beliefs
• Difficult life transitions
• Feeling “stuck” in patterns that no longer serve you
If you are curious about whether an EMDR Intensive may be a good fit for you, I'd love to connect.
I am a certified Synergetic Play Therapist. Synergetic Play Therapy® is a neuroscience-based, relational model of play therapy and a way of being in relationship. It blends play, science, and the therapist’s own development to facilitate deep healing and transformation. It draws from neuroscience, Interpersonal Neurobiology, mindfulness, attachment theory, and physics. Reach out if your child is struggling- play therapy could benefit them (and YOU!) immensely.
I offer individual counseling services that are tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles, life transitions, grief and loss, or healing from trauma, I'm here to support you. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. Teletherapy sessions are a secure, private, and convenient option.
I am currently In Network with Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Regence and Lyra Health. Otherwise I am a cash-pay provider. Reduced fees are offered on a case by case basis. Reach out for more information on fees and payment options.
